Alpaca South carries a unique collection of beautifully crafted alpaca products and is part of Wharncliffe Alpaca Stud.
Founder Alison Brolsma encountered alpacas for the first time at the Huon show in 1994 and has been absorbed by both the alpacas themselves and the challenge of developing the beautiful fleece they yield ever since.
Now Tasmania’s longest-established specialist breeder of black huacaya alpacas, Alison works with local artisans and crafters who produce one-of-a-kind, quality alpaca products, lovingly created for Alpaca South.
